Florian Schneider's absence during concerts in the USA [May. 5th, 2008|09:04 am]
Die Kraftwerk Süchtige

I wonder why nobody posted in this community news about Florian Schneider's absence during last concerts in the USA, including Coachella-2008

"Kraftwerk founder Florian Schneider has been notably absent on the opening dates of the band’s current US tour."

Autobahn self made video [Apr. 30th, 2008|06:45 pm]
Die Kraftwerk Süchtige

I shoot it in a trip from Sitges and Vilafranca, two Catalan towns (I live in the first one).
Later I edited all the material at home, adding some extra footage there.

I hope you enjoy it :)

Celebrity=insult. [Apr. 29th, 2008|10:53 am]
Die Kraftwerk Süchtige

[Current Location |God-forsaken W-B...again]

Anybody else feel this way? I have a really hard time seeing Kraftwerk as "celebrities". I just don't think of them that way. I always think of  them as historical figures, revolutionaries, legends. I see them as somebody who in a way changed the course of history, at least as far as music is concerned...maybe other ways too. Somehow, the term "celebrity" almost seems like a derrogatory term.

Peace out

Neu!/Kraftwerk Drummer Klaus Dinger, R.I.P. [Apr. 2nd, 2008|03:36 pm]
Die Kraftwerk Süchtige
A founding father of krautrock has passed away. Klaus Dinger, who played drums for Kraftwerk and went on to co-found Neu!, died March 21, although the news of his death was not made public until today. A report from Neu! label Grönland cites the cause of death as heart failure. Dinger was 61, and would have turned 62 on March 24....
The rest of the article - and a couple of videos - at the source.

Die Kraftwerk Süchtige

Hello people.

I made a shirt for my dad for his 46th birthday.

He's been obsessed with Kraftwerk since he was in high school.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing on one of my shirts.

Is it good? Yes? No?
